Cinnabar Creek™ is as rich in history as the town of Big Timber. We are located downtown on Mcleod Street in the historic Montana Power Building. The building itself survived a fire in the early 1900s and was rebuilt, complete with an elevator, shortly after.

The elevator is gone now, but Cinnabar Creek™ honors the architectural history by keeping many of the character and period details including the original floors.

Named for a nearby creek that rambles through the fields below the Beartooth range of mountains, Cinnabar Creek™ takes its name from the section of the creek that is flanked by scarlet cliffs.

The store first began as an establishment selling health food and nutritional items for the community. Ten years ago, Cinnabar Creek™ evolved into the warm and inviting boutique serving the community and all that travel through with unique gifts, beautiful apparel and more.

We pride ourselves in making it a mission to find choice products locally that reflect the spirit our region. We also support our talented and industrious American workers by focusing on bringing in fabulous brands made in the U.S.A.

With a comfortable easy atmosphere, you can grab a great cup of coffee and browse the assortment of handpicked books and fabulous one-of-a kind historical photos depicting early 20th century life in Montana. Every season brings a new collection of treasures for the home, apparel and jewelry.
